Get to Know Our Team
The Demand Planning team is the growth engine for Grab. Our interdisciplinary work combines advanced analytics, customer segmentation, marketing strategy, and positioning. We aim to grow demand efficiently through strategic ideation, experimentation, and the successful implementation of key initiatives.
Get to Know the Role
This role balances advanced analytics and stakeholder management. You will lead daily coordination with various teams, including Marketing and Operations, to drive demand growth. Your work will involve data analysis for actionable insights such as promo and incentive optimization, churn analysis, and customer segmentation. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute these strategies. You will report to Head, Demand Planning - Mobility, Mart, Express.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
You will:
- Analyze short to medium-term issues improving demand growth, including customer segmentation, conversion funnel optimization, churn analysis, market scans, and experimentation.
- Collaborate on advanced statistical analyses and predictive modeling with relevant teams.
- Forecast spend on promos, incentives, and other main plans for weekly, monthly, and quarterly planning cycles.
- Build presentations to influence senior partners and promote data-driven decision-making.
- Design efficient promo structures and other plans to achieve demand growth, working with teams for execution.
- Manage budget allocation and track costs from initiatives in collaboration with the Finance team.
Qualifications
What Skills You Will Need
- Or a minimum 1 years of relevant work experience in financial services, management consulting or technology firms
- In processing complex data sets using Excel (Essential)/Tableau
- Working knowledge of SQL but not essential
- Quantitative discipline with strong business sense and complex analyses to multiple audiences, and translating these to relevant business insights
- Ability to see big picture while not losing sight of details
