THE ROLE


The Associate Creative Strategist at Thrive Market will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between data-driven insights and creative storytelling to elevate our advertising efforts. This individual will support the ideation, execution, and analysis of performance-focused creative campaigns that resonate with health-conscious families. They will collaborate across teams to ensure creative aligns with brand goals, performance metrics, and customer insights.


We are looking for a curious, strategic thinker with a passion for creativity and direct-to-consumer performance. The ideal candidate:

- Has a blend of analytical and creative skills, comfortable working with data and customer-focused creative concepts

- Demonstrates a proactive mindset, capable of balancing strategic objectives with day-to-day tactical execution

- Thrives in collaborative environments, bridging gaps between media buying and creative production

- Is passionate about delivering innovative solutions to solve customer pain points

- Has the unique ability to consistently view every project, ad, and analysis from the point of view of the the target consumer, understanding how their pain points, motivations, and barriers to conversion are reflected in their response to ads

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze ad performance data to extract actionable insights to guide strategic creative decisions
  • Develop innovative ad concepts and hypotheses rooted in market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive analysis
  • Identify high-impact creative elements that drive strong engagement and conversion rates to inform the team’s ability to combine the best aspects of different ads to create new, effective ads
  • Craft clear and actionable creative briefs that align performance goals with brand messaging
  • Partner with creative strategy lead, media buyers, designers, copywriters, and stakeholders to bring creative concepts to life
  • ssist in designing and interpreting creative tests to identify high-performing ad elements and optimize future executions
  • Conduct and catalog post-test analyses to evaluate successes, pinpoint areas for improvement, and inform future strategy, creating a seamless and documented feedback lop to fuel informed creative iterations
  • Maintain timelines and prioritize tasks to ensure smooth workflows and timely delivery of creative assets

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with performance analytics tools (e.g., Motion, Google Analytics, or similar).
  • Familiarity with ad platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Google) and their creative requirements and best practices.
  • Strong project management skills and familiarity with tools like Wrike, Asana, Monday.com, or Trello.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A passion for Thrive Market’s mission and values

Contract Details

  • This is a contract position
  • Contract Length: 3 months, with potential for extension or conversion, though not guaranteed
  • Work Location: Los Angeles/Remote
  • Compensation details: $40-45/hr
