Job Description

Adjective & Co. is on the hunt for a top-notch Associate Creative Director, Design with strong team management skills and a lights-out eye for design. Someone who’s been around the block a time or twelve, has been to a few rodeos, and has survived a few crash landings. You’ve got all your creative badges sewn on your vest to prove it: from digital & email (digital experience is a must, but the ability to code basic HTML/CSS/JS is a bonus), to print & traditional media, to social & experiential—with a sprinkling of illustration & animation dust for good measure.

The Day-To-Day Expectations:

  • Concepting, branding, design and everything else in the creative realm

  • Work in every media (print, social, outdoor, tv/video, digital, web and email)

  • Develop creative, innovative, results-driven social media campaigns from concept to production

  • Managing creative team members and creative/design interns

  • Creative presentations (so must have amazing presentation skills)

  • Make clients love you

  • Working with various vendors as needed (photographers, animators, merch/apparel vendors, etc.)

  • Crushing everything you do

Qualifications

  • Five (5+) years of relevant experience in creative execution and team managment—agency preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • A proven ability to manage a team on large projects, execute against creative briefs and manage all production needs for a project.

  • Ability to collaborate well with our account team, clients, creative directors, art directors, copywriters, and designers to concept campaigns and develop brand strategies.

  • You have a solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite—Ps, Ai, Id, and even some Ae. Bonus points for Xd, Pr and Dw.

  • Extensive experience with presentation software (Keynote mainly) and comfortable presenting to both internal teams and directly to clients and agency partners.

  • You can demonstrate that you are self-organized, self-driven, and have a strong attention to detail.

  • Can show experience working directly with clients.

  • You have a solid portfolio displaying your abilities, skills, and experience.

  • Local/on-site preferred.
