This is remote role, however you must be located within 50 miles of New York NY to be considered. Please note, that we do not currently offer relocation support of any kind at this time.
As Associate Copywriter, you will be responsible for helping to translate the client’s strategy, goals, and vision into compelling marketing copy that drives conversions.
Your primary focus will be developing creative concepting and copy for video and banners. As an Associate Copywriter, you’ll fully dig in, strategize, and write on multiple projects with tight deadlines. Ideally, you’re a multitasking ace with a passion for storytelling. Your work is, of course, top-notch and you have solid writing samples to prove it. You have good communication skills and love team collaboration. You geek out on the details and are highly accountable, responsive, and able to effectively and efficiently work on your own and within the team. Previous experience at an advertising agency is a plus, but not required.
The Associate Copywriter reports to the Associate Creative Director, Copy.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Writing short, compelling copy for digital platforms that is on brand and focused on performance marketing
- Keeping up with and following best practices for all media platforms
- Collaborating with an Art Director partner to create original concepts
- Incorporating internal and client feedback and ideating creative solutions as needed
- Writing in a range of styles as appropriate for different clients, verticals, and media
- Working closely with our Associate Creative Director, Copy, and our team of Project Managers, Art Directors and Studio Artists
You’ll need to have:
- 2–5 years of experience as a copywriter, in an in-house or agency environment
- A passion for advertising, technology, and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat)
- Great communication skills across these core areas: verbal, written, presentation, and meeting facilitation in both individual and group settings
- Stellar organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage time
- The ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Eagerness to participate in brainstorming sessions designed toward specific outputs and client solutions
- Openness to other points of view, and the ability to give and receive constructive criticism
- An ability to handle shifting priorities
- A range of strong writing samples
- An appreciation for digital communication tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Suite)
Proficiency in the following programs/tools:
- Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs)
- Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Mac/PC platform literate

The anticipated salary range for this position is $67,100 - $85,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
