Position Summary
In this role, you will contribute to the architecture and development of software applications, backend services, and scalable solutions. Our software products and services empower teams across CVS Health with robust systems to support real-time processing and analytics at scale. You will design and build scalable applications, LLM-powered solutions, APIs, and microservices, as well as develop infrastructure to handle high-throughput transactional systems, telemetry signals, and large-scale data processing. Your work will focus on delivering high-performance, reliable, and secure software solutions that drive innovation and efficiency across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience as a software engineer with an understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
- 1+ years of experience with technologies such as Python, SQL, and JavaScript. Experience with additional software and data engineering technologies and tools is a plus.
- 1+ years solving complex business or technical problems and proposing effective software solutions
- 1+ years hands on solutions w ith logging and telemetry systems for debugging and performance tracking
Preferred Qualifications
- Software Engineering Skills: Excellent programming skills, with expertise in building robust and scalable software solutions using modern software engineering practices. Ideally worked on GCP cloud platform working with GCP services.
- Data Architecture: Solid understanding of data architecture principles and proven experience in designing and developing scalable data systems, while considering data governance requirements.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to provide to drive successful outcomes in a collaborative team environment, with a focus on engineering excellence
- Monitoring and Observability: Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
Education
- Education Bachelors in CS or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$61,800.00 - $148,320.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
