Associate, Business Development
Weber Shandwick is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Associate who wants to be part of a dedicated and engaged team that creates smart marketing and communications solutions for clients. This position will provide ongoing support to the Business Development team for North America. The role includes development of RFI and RFP content, conducting research into new prospects, supporting proactive new business pursuits, managing timelines, coordinating with pitch teams and leads, assisting with reporting, knowledge management and more.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide operational support on projects, as directed
- Accurately maintain executional tools, trackers and reporting
- Share results of the work in a structured way
- Proactively offer solutions for executional issues specific to assigned programs
- Engage, as appropriate, with client prospect contacts
- Support multiple growth programs
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Timely communication of significant issues and challenges
- Confident presenter and persuasive speaker
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, collaborative and endlessly curious
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 years of PR agency/journalism experience
- Available to work a full-time schedule
- Business development experience, either on a Growth team or pitch participation
- Professional demeanor
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Resourceful and effective problem solver

NYC Salary range: $52,000 - $57,000
