Associate Automation Solution Architect

What We Need:

As an Associate Automation Solutions Architect, you will strategically drive the identification and assessment of automation solutions using Intelligent Automation tools and technologies. In addition to designing solutions and collaborating with other lead engineers, you will work closely with business stakeholders, process owners, and senior management to identify automation opportunities, design complex solutions, and drive the successful delivery of projects. Will leverage your technical and leadership skills to provide oversight and direction to support the IA COE in ensuring IA tools, development efforts, and production deployments follow COE and IT standards set by Enterprise Architecture.

Your extensive experience in solution architecture will be crucial in guiding the team, managing project timelines, and ensuring the scalability and effectiveness of automation solutions. Additionally, you will coordinate with cross-functional technical teams to ensure that the platform (production and multiple non-production environments) and its supporting processes are stable and available 24x7 for Automation and that the end-to-end technical processes drive long-term value to our business stakeholders.

Your Day to Day

• Collaborate with Enterprise architects, product owners and analysts to understand requirements and architecture to design, develop robust software solutions or applications.
• Collaborate with business SME’s and management to understand current initiatives and determine where automation can we used to create additional capacity.
• Determine the complexity of the current process and how automation can resolve the current business challenge.
• Collaborate with the business to understand volume and frequency and calculate out the ROI back to the business once automation is in production.
• Determine the capabilities needed and if the current automation stack can provide a solution for the business problem statement.
• Drive and oversee implementation of new trends in software engineering lifecycle and best practices to simplify the system integration needs of our business units.
• Oversee creation and maintenance of technical documentation and user guides in support of developed software. 
• Hands on experience with presenting solutions to enterprise architects as part of the Architect Review board and follow up for approvals
• Collaborate and create architecture diagrams using products such as Miro, Visio
• Maintain high-level familiarity with BCBSMA IT system/business application capabilities in order to make critical operational and strategic decisions.
• Have the passion to stay on top of current trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, contribute to internal & engage with external technology communities.
• Ensure that automation solutions adhere to security and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated experience managing time-sensitive, complex projects, involving multiple stakeholders and/or external vendors using both traditional waterfall and agile /spring methodologies.
• Ability to learn, coach processes and mentor team members to develop highly scalable, secure and robust applications in Intelligent automation value stream.

We’re Looking for:

• Knowledge of Intelligent Automation (RPA, IDP, Chatbot) products and BPM platforms (Pega, Appian, Kissflow etc), cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) are highly desirable.
• Hands on experience in implementing Automation or BPM solutions in healthcare or in domains which are customer facing.
• Proven experience in implementing complex technical solutions across cutting edge technologies providing value outcome to business partners
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Hands on solution design and implementation experience in BPM products - preferably Appian/Pega/Kissflow
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology or related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8+ years as a Lead on an agile project working closely with client leadership to drive and develop solutions while working to integrate multiple components on a project. 
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with software programming (Java, .NET, C++, Python or equivalent), database programming (Oracle, Postgres or equivalent) using industry standards IDE tools or platforms
• Expertise on Headless API design implementation
• Cloud transformation experience 
• Basic knowledge of artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Salary Range: $138,600.00 - $169,400.00

The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.  An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

This job is also eligible for variable pay.
