Job Title: Associate Art Director – Digital & Brand Design
Reports to: Global Art Director – Digital Design & Brand Creative
Location: Goleta, CA or Los Angeles, CA
The Role
The Associate Art Director – Digital + Brand Design will craft engaging content that elevates UGG, blending art, commerce, and social engagement. They will lead eComm creative projects, design online experiences, and support art direction for photo and video shoots. Through cross-team collaboration, they will ensure creative assets meet high standards, shaping UGG’s visual identity across digital and social platforms.

Your Impact
- Lead eComm projects, ensuring brand identity and business goals are met, while collaborating with key stakeholders for seamless production.
- Design engaging online content, including homepages, landing pages, PDPs, PLPs, emails, and other digital assets.
- Prioritize user experience with a strong understanding of eComm KPIs.
- Produce high-quality content using animation and video editing skills.
- Stay updated on digital innovation trends and apply them to content creation.
- Provide design expertise to support the creative team on branding, graphics, and layout-focused projects, including packaging, catalogs, toolkits, directives, and retail initiatives.
- Support in the art direction and production process for photo and video shoots, primarily for eComm.
- Contribute to pre-production tasks such as concepting, shot list creation, location scouting, casting, set design, and creative vendor selection (photographers/videographers/hair + makeup artists, art department, editors, and retouchers).
- Provide on-set leadership and direction to create market-leading content.
- Oversee post-production tasks by selecting images, providing retouching and editing notes, and designing creative treatments for use across captured visuals integrating them into multi-channel assets.
- Support content curation and art direction for social-first productions, staying ahead of the latest trends.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive and achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Contribute ideas and insights during brainstorming sessions.

- Over 5 years of experience in digital design and art direction, working with brands or agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, a related field, or comparable professional experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative vision, brand connectivity, and innovative digital content.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, CMS, UX/UI, and video editing software (Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Premiere).
- Expert in digital design and eCommerce with a focus on user experience.
- Skilled in typography, composition, motion, branding, and user-centered design.
- Proficient in digital platforms, photography, motion graphics, and graphic design.
- Experience in video production and digital storytelling.
- Passionate about digital trends, user experience, and strategic design thinking, and up-to-date with industry trends and digital formats.
- Deep knowledge of fashion, image making, and branding.
- Experience assisting the execution and direction of photo and video shoots, especially in eComm.
- Proven ability to lead social-first art direction, blending brand identity with trend-driven content to drive engagement and growth.
- Skilled in using customer insights and performance data in creative work.
- Demonstrated ability to assist in leading creative projects from concept to completion.

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
