CommBank’s Agency Operations team sits within our Market Operations business and is focussed on providing Facility Agent services within a Syndicated Agency products, including administration and Security Trustee services to a portfolio of Corporate and Government clients.
Sitting within our Chief Operating Office (COO), our Market Operations business is a team of 400 Operations Professionals who support our Global Lending, Markets, CommSec, Trade Finance, Treasury and Payments businesses globally.
The Role.
As an Associate in our Agency team, you will provide ongoing Corporate Loan administration and deal support to a portfolio of institutional & corporate clients, acting as the facility agent. You will pro-actively manage the relationship between lenders and borrowers acting as the intermediary for all instructions, communications and payments.
Utilising the LoanIQ (LIQ) system, you will coordinate and manage both multicurrency & AUD facilities, including drawdowns, fees, rollovers, rate setting & payments on loans and guarantees for syndicate lenders, including CBA share. You will also work closely with CBA’s Agency Origination relationship managers to provide a complete and efficient service to both Syndicate Lenders and borrowers.
On any given day you will

Provide end-to-end loan support across Syndicated loans, guarantees, drawdowns, rollovers & rate setting, re-structures, amendments, fees and general Agency Lending administration

Manage all payment functions arising from the loan facilities including loan drawdowns, repayments, fees, interest collections and paying agent roles on USPP.

Process high value foreign currency, Swift & RTGS payments ensuring they are actioned correctly and on time

Manage and co-ordinate amendment requests from clients and stakeholders

You will have some experience in Corporate & Institutional Lending within either Syndicated or Bi-lateral loans, guarantees and letters of credit, facilitating payments both Foreign Currency (SWIFT) & domestic payments (RTGS & desktop banking applications) and will have experience building and maintaining strong working relationships with both internal & external stakeholders or clients.
You will also have:

Solid working knowledge of the Loan IQ system and product knowledge of Facility Agreements.

Be commercially focused with strong analytical skills, including the ability to understand and analyse loan and facility agreements.

Ability to collaborate with team members and contribute to a dynamic working environment, but also work effectively in an autonomous capacity
