Finance & Reporting: In our pursuit to embrace 4G growth, finance plays very pivotal role in redefining future fit operations as well as embracing digital technology. This includes protecting and unlocking value, delivering decision support expertise and process excellence in the core business cycle and delivering business and finance priorities. Financial reporting is one such critical finance function covering regulatory compliance, transparency and controls.
UniOps, part of global Business Operations manages the company’s shared business services, made up of HR Services, Finance Transactions, IT services, Information Management Services and Workplace Services.

Within the service catalogue of UniOps, Commercial Experience organisation is responsible for the management and delivery of finance and supplier operations services globally, both through third-party outsourced providers (e.g. IBM / Genpact, CapGemini and through in-sourced operations.
Within finance service, Record to Report (RTR) is on such critical services which ensures proper reporting of financials coupled with compliance on various control requirements. This role is towards such reporting for one particular geography by overseeing and co-ordinating effectively with dedicated teams, 3rd party service providers, GCAD, other service lines like CSC, GCOPA, PEC and in-market teams - Controllers / Country Finance Heads etc.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Delivery of Key KPIs towards - Month end / quarter end / year end close - TB Review / Country Lock Meeting / NFD Reviews
- Inter Company settlements / overdue review / follow-up on actions
- Balance Sheet Hygiene / A/c recon- review and follow-up on quality of reco by 3PSPs
- V@R Review: Follow-up & actions
- GPM / GFCF Compliance - review and monitoring
- Projects support - IFRS / S4 SCOA / Blackline / Puccini etc.
- Service Delivery Review of 3PSP / key deliverables
- Close co-ordination with other UniOps CE functions like CSC, PEC , STP interface etc.
- Manage respective OC Teams (each responsible for specific country /region) , regular review , trouble shoot.. Interactions with Corporate Auditors / Statutory Auditors – provide details / clarifications
- Interactions with GCAD / County Teams - Controllers / Internal Audit / Statutory / Tax / FET & MR / CDF / SCF etc.
- Any other reporting requirements – new activities …., project co-ordination etc.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
- Accounting knowledge – Has strong accounting knowledge on Financial Reporting /R2R reporting in Unilever – period close: Month end / Qtr end / Year end – TB Review/CLMs/NFD Reviews etc.
- Strong control mindset / understanding of key GFCF / SOX / Internal & external audit requirements, BS hygiene and account reconciliation requirements
- Interpersonal skills – Ability to build collaborative relationship with multiple stakeholders / Influencing – In Country, IT, 3PSP, other UniOps Teams like PEC, etc.
- Bias for action – Drive actions and ensure targeted reporting timelines are met OTIF (On Time In Full) high quality
- Strong Communiction skills in both English and Turkish
- Qualified Accountant with business knowledge / understanding
- Very good accounting knowledge / various reporting requirements understanding
- Knowledge on SAP FI / good understanding of other interfaces – ifinance
- Microsoft office skills – Excel / Word / Power Point/ Power BI etc.
