The Role

As Assistant Property Manager, you'll play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our luxury apartment community. You'll work closely with the Property Manager to ensure smooth operations, high occupancy rates, and outstanding resident services. A key focus of your role will be managing the rent collection process, including handling delinquencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Property Manager in overseeing daily operations and team management
  • Take charge of the rent collection process, with a particular focus on managing and resolving delinquent accounts
  • Support leasing efforts to maintain high occupancy rates
  • Help coordinate maintenance requests and property upkeep
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets
  • Respond to resident inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, fair housing laws, and other relevant regulations
  • Participate in resident retention initiatives and community events

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in property management, preferably in luxury residential properties
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in rent collection and delinquency management
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in property management software
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CAM, NALP) are a plus
