Our Finance Team has multiple responsibilities which includes leading, auditing, accounting, and controlling our finances. We manage the business' money and producing financial statement of the business.

Get to Know the Role

Tax Compliance

• Preparation and filing of all tax returns and submission of other schedules / reports to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all tax-related activities
• Ensure tax accounts are well monitored and up to date
• Improve tax savings and compliance projects
• Collaborate with finance and tax on several automation projects
• Keep updated on latest tax regulations and issuance

Your role will directly report to the Manager, Finance - Tax. You will be based onsite at our Ortigas office with flexible work arrangements.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Manage BIR tax assessments

• Coordinate BIR personnel and tax consultants
• Ensure submission of documents, schedules and other requirements
• Provide reconciliation during tax assessments. If needed, prepare company position paper and response letters.

Business Partnership

• Collaborate with other finance professionals and business operations team
• Provide guidance / explanation of tax concepts and requirements to clients and stakeholders
• Support in the registration of branches and other administrative office with BIR

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (Certified Public Accountant license is required)
• At least 4 years of experience and in-depth understanding of tax laws and regulations
• Experienced in handling tax audits
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Possess project management skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using AI tools
