This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.
This person will be an integral part of the Product Marketing team focusing on developing our sales material by crafting impactful messaging focusing on product selling points, market themes, and key competitive advantages. As a senior member of the team, you will be focused on our largest funds for product launches and fundraising. The ideal candidate will be able to “connect the dots” between client needs, market trends, and business goals to generate ideas and, ultimately, compelling content. The ideal candidate is someone who is:
- Has experience generating sales collateral for complex investment concepts into engaging content
- Has experience leading and guiding discussions with key partners around messaging, marketing collateral, and investment themes
- Has strong project management experience, including ability to handle multiple contending priorities and complete tasks on schedule
- Demonstrates outstanding collaboration skills and the ability to collaborate optimally across different departments and organizational hierarchies.
- Ambitious and comfortable in a fast past environment
- Very detail oriented
- Sense of humor, great teammate, upbeat!
What you will do:
- Create and implement marketing content for new product launches. Includes participation in product planning discussions, development and execution of communication plans, and development and production of materials.
- Materials developed for a fund launch include: private placement memorandum (PPM), presentation, fact sheet, launch email, due diligence materials, due diligence web site (data room), data room spreadsheets, and internal training materials.
- Work closely with investment, operations, IR, compliance, data, and legal teams as well as product specialists to produce and define product messaging
- Carry out external webcasts, product insights, and sales emails to facilitate communication between launches and contribute to product fundraising efforts.
- Work with external legal counsel on materials supporting launches and fund closes including PPM supplements
- Ensure a consistent message, tone, and brand across all marketing materials
- And other responsibilities as required
What you bring:
- Experience developing marketing materials and content with an institutional asset management focus
- Solid understanding of marketing communication practices and relationship management process
- Demonstrated comfort delivering feedback and direction to senior partners and investment professionals
- Solid knowledge of financial markets, specifically private equity, private wealth, private debt, and real assets/infrastructure, and evergreen products
- Familiarity with investment concepts and high level of comfort with numbers and analysis
- Familiarity and understanding of nuances within private markets clients
- Proven business writing ability with excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills
- Ability to write about complex concepts in a clear and compelling style, as well as a demonstrated ability to vary tone and language based on project / audience
- Ability to independently analyze information and solve problems
Education Preferred:
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or equivalent experience or Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experience
Experience:
- 8-10 Years experience
