Job Purpose Summary

The Business Intelligence and Reporting team specialises in data architecture for reporting services and excels in designing data warehouses, data marts, and BI enterprise reporting. The team focuses on enhancing BI utilisation within the bank by crafting comprehensive BI solutions that furnish valuable insights and information to support key decision-makers. Additionally, the team is responsible for various aspects of data management, encompassing database administration, design, data analysis, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

•    Lead and mentor a diverse team of junior and senior analyst, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture to drive success.
•    Create and execute business intelligence strategies to achieve organizational objectives, ensuring that team objectives are in line with the overall business objectives.
•    Manage data analysis to extract valuable insights and coordinating the creation of reports that offer actionable decision-making information.
•    Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and requirements, ensuring accurate and relevant information delivery.
•    Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the best possible outcomes for the team.
•    Implement a quality assurance process to ensure data accuracy and report reliability, continuously monitor and improve reporting processes.

Jobholder Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance or similar

Experience

  • Proven experience in business intelligence, reporting, and team leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Special Skills

Proficiency in BI tools ie SQL, SAS, Tableau, RPA
