Get to Know the Team
The Country Finance team is an important part of an organization responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, planning and analysis, business partnering, compliance and governance, and decision support. Overall, the finance team plays an essential role in ensuring the financial stability and growth of an organization. We are made up of young and experienced professionals.
Get to Know the Role
You will reporting to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for daily operations of the accounting department, collaborating/reviewing with Shared Service on the closing, monthly financial reporting, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all transactions, maintaining internal controls and improving financial processes. You'll help maintain the financial health and integrity of the company and ensuring all regulatory compliance. You will work onsite at our Bangkok office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Prepare monthly, quarterly financial reports and annual financial statements and validate reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor and reconcile several financial systems.
- Work with Country FP&A team and Regional Controllership team; help improve reporting process and tools.
- Work with the Financial Controller in conducting risk management and internal SOX controls.
- Participate in financial projects and collaborate with other departments.
- Review and maintain accounting procedures.
- Manage the annual audit process with the external auditors.
- Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and any other relevant regulations.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- You will have at least 3+ years of experience in Audit and in the lending or insurance sector.
- You have familiarity with financial regulations and accounting standards and basic tax knowledge.
- You have the knowledge of accounting software (eg Oracle) and Excel skills.
- You have experience handling large amounts of data and experience managing work priorities to meet tight deadlines.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English and Thai.
- You are a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
