Your Focus
As an Assistant Engineer, you will oversee the operation and maintenance of manufacturing plant facility systems. Your key responsibilities include coordinating with building area owners for any breakdowns or preventive maintenance of operational equipment, scheduling and supervising contractors, supporting hands-on maintenance tasks, and compiling and reviewing project budgets and submissions.
How You Will Contribute
- Operation and maintenance for the manufacturing plant facility systems
- Liaise and coordinate with building area owners for any breakdown or preventive maintenance of operation equipment.
- Scheduling and supervision of contractors on preventive maintenance activities
- Responsible for the procurement of spare parts that support the day-to-day maintenance activities.
- Assisting with hands-on maintenance works as required from time-to-time.
- Working with technicians and contractors for breakdown troubleshooting and repair.
- Coordinate and supervise Contractors on Project work
- Compound and Review Project budget/submission
- Participate continuous improvement program to explore the possibilities in own working area and others.
- Any other tasks assign as when needed.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any related field
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in manufacturing plant facility system’s maintenance and operation
- Proficiency in English communication skills.
- A team player, good organization skills
- Excellent communication, and negotiations skills.
- Knowledge in SAP, Microsoft office
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement
- Ability to modify AutoCAD drawings.
