Job Position: Skin Cleansing Assistant Brand Manager 
Report to: Brand Manager/ Vietnam Category Lead

Skin Cleansing is one of the fastest-growing categories within Unilever Vietnam, boasting leading brands such as Lifebuoy (Shower Gel, Handwashing Liquid, Bar Soap), Dove (Shower Gel, Scrubs), Lux, and Hazeline. The Skin Cleansing Assistant Brand Manager will be charged with overseeing one brand or a key segment of a brand, driving its growth and ensuring exemplary marketing execution. This role demands a blend of creative spark and operational precision, aiming to elevate the brand to new heights.

This position offers a robust learning curve in brand communication and management, underpinned by a commitment to marketing creativity and operational excellence. The successful candidate will drive engaging brand experiences and foster brand loyalty by catering to the needs of Vietnamese consumers with top-tier product benefits and sensory appeal.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Assist and lead in driving the growth of the Brand through landing Consumer-Centric Brand Strategy via revitalization and re-excitement of the core portfolio, with outstanding execution of different brand aspects, including but not limited to product mix, proposition, claims, social engagement, digital consideration, on-ground activations, brand events. Advocate for consumer needs, desires and brand enthusiasm. Lead and be guided with understand consumer barriers and triggers, then offer the undeniably attractive marketing mix. Provide market-, social-, customer-insights driven input into innovation platform projects and brand deployment planning to ensure future market demands and emerging engagement platform are well met and satisfied. Achieve brand share and profitable growth by effectively translating brand and marketing strategies into dedicated market-deaveraging and customer-specific plans (including customized activities when needed).

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Stay connected and engaged with our consumers to understand their needs, the triggers and barriers, then translate these understanding to unmissable brand engagement strategy and deployment execution. Assist in the formulation and execution of the Brand Marketing Plan by developing a comprehensive understanding of the key drivers for brand growth and health. This includes identifying critical issues and opportunities for the brand's advancement. Lead the deployment of innovative and activation projects, ensuring an integrated activity schedule that aligns with the Brand Key Vision and Brand Vision Plan, including a robust communication strategy. Embrace the trends and the rise of social 1st and digital-led marketing approach in bring core portfolio closer to our consumers, appearing at the right place at the right time with the right message that triggers better consideration and conversion. Continuously monitor and evaluate brand performance metrics to recommend and implement effective strategies that enhance brand equity. Identify and propose solutions to improve marketing effectiveness based on thorough performance reviews. Collaborate closely with external agencies, such as Advertising, Market Research, and PR, to deliver impeccable brand experiences across all consumer touchpoints. Execute specific brand projects as outlined in the brand plan, including co-branding initiatives with major retailers and answering the specific needs of customers/channels (e.g., DCom, H&B, Hyper markets). Diligently monitor budget allocations, providing timely updates to relevant stakeholders regarding potential overspend or cash availability. Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams, including Customer Development, Supply Chain, and Finance, to ensure seamless project execution, effective competition analysis, budget phasing, and media plan tracking.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

3-4 years brand management experience in an FMCG environment. Strong business mindset, analytical power and good communication skills, both written and verbal, both English and Vietnamese including presentation experience Strong exposure to Social & Digital Marketing space. Passion for growth and strong time management skills to work in a changeable environment, ability to manage workload and multiple projects; Open-minded, innovative and result-oriented;
