As a Sales Support Analyst in Asset Management, you will be responsible to provide a fully integrated center of relationship intelligence, connecting all touch points across the client lifecycle - to help drive sales performance and deliver a purposeful client experience. The India Sales Support team is fully-integrated with the Client Advisors on location and works closely with our clients, client advisors, financial advisors, relationship managers and global sales support teams to help facilitate the process. The role also requires coordinating with various cross-functional internal teams (Client Service, Marketing, Product, Finance, MIS/Business Intelligence and Technology) to be able to provide holistic coverage across the cycle.
Job Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Internal Client Advisors and Client Advisors to generate Portfolio Insights analysis reports. Document sales activity and information in Salesforce, and drive product strategy for tracking and compliance purposes.
  • Report Types include heatmap analysis, investment comparisons, hypotheticals, FI 360s, excess return, return correlation, and overlap reports.
  • Create proposals and illustrative models for key sales representatives as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members, internal partners, and investment professionals throughout the firm on various projects.
  • Maintain client and internal information in CRM tools, various databases, and systems.
  • Gain an understanding of the sales process to better align requirements with changing business scenarios.


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Relevant industry experience and market knowledge of the sales process
  • Strong Quantitative and analytical skillsets (including data analysis and ability to understand data flows)
  • Strong knowledge of all asset classes - Equity, Fixed income, Cash liquidity, Currency, Real Estate, Hedge funds and Private Equity
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office product suite (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint) required
  • Effective planning and time management skills to meet strict deadlines or changing priorities (able to self-prioritize and leverage resources to be problem solver)
  • Professional and industrious attitude, possessing energy, ownership and confidence to complete work with limited supervision
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment, successfully and efficiently
  • Stakeholder Management is key. Interact and communicate confidently and effectively with all stakeholders


Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • CFA is a plus
  • Experience working with an industry recognized CRM platform (Salesforce) is a plus
  • Understanding of Asset Management business (Investment Management, Mutual Funds, Managed Accounts, ETFs and SMAs) preferable
