J.P. Morgan Asset Management is a leading provider of comprehensive retirement solutions, offering a broad range of single-style and multi-asset investment solutions uniquely suited for defined contribution (DC) plans and individual retirement needs, including our SmartRetirement® target date funds. Our bundled plan services support plan sponsor and employee workplace needs for small- to mid-sized companies (plans from $2 million to $500 million in assets under management). Through thought leadership programs including our Guide to Retirement, we seek to offer innovative and actionable retirement insights that support and facilitate smart saving, spending and investing behaviors.
As a Vice President, Relationship Manager for Retirement Link within J.P. Morgan Asset Management, you will be at the forefront of managing and nurturing a portfolio of mid-sized 401(k) plans. You will play a pivotal role in understanding and exceeding client expectations, while fostering strong partnerships with key institutional partners. Your responsibility will be to deliver exceptional service, strategic insights, and tailored solutions that align with our clients' retirement goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with a portfolio of mid-sized 401(k) plan clients. Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with key institutional partners to enhance service delivery and identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the retirement plan space.
- Understand clients' unique needs and objectives, providing strategic insights and customized solutions to optimize their retirement plans.
- Regularly review and analyze plan performance, providing clients with actionable recommendations to improve plan outcomes and participant engagement.
- Ensure all client interactions and plan activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies, mitigating potential risks.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to proactively address client needs and position J.P. Morgan Asset Management as a thought leader in the retirement space.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Minimum10 years' experience in the retirement industry
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Strong understanding of 401(k) plan administration, compliance, and investment strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and strategic partnerships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for client success and a deep understanding of the retirement plan landscape.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Proven experience in relationship management within the financial services industry, preferably with a focus on retirement plans.
- MBA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
