As a Vice President Client Advisor in the Institutional Business Team, you will actively engage with established clients and look for new and innovative ways to build our client book. Using our market-leading technology and CRM system, you will create detailed client contact that help our Sales and Investment teams identify new opportunities and bring cutting edge solutions to our clients. The team is looking for an experienced VP level Client Advisor, based in Taiwan, focusing on uncovering sales opportunities, as well as building and maintaining client relationships independently. You must be able to lead sales pitches, projects, activities; as well as actively manage a set of clients in accordance with client retention and incremental sales budgets.
Job responsibilities:

  • Build and lead business opportunity discussions with major institutional investors in Taiwan that require confidentiality, diligence and self-motivation
  • Engage with client relationships, conduct performance reviews and meetings , develop, apply, and provide advice on investment strategies, products, and services
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and the abilities to prioritize effectively and multi-task efficiently
  • Observe established procedures, processes and guidelines when performing assigned tasks, and also exercise good judgment and appropriate discretion to produce timely, high quality results that are in line with the team's objectives and best interests
  • Work closely with investment teams, Product Development, Operations, Risk, Legal and other internal parties to optimize product and service delivery for overall relationship
  • Understand and analyze the industry development, and translate it into potential business opportunity
  • Research competitors' offerings and identify ways to improve the marketability and competitiveness of our products


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Excellent Mandarin speaker with fluent English in both spoken and written
  • 8+ years of work experience in financial industry
  • Solid knowledge of investment products, market, and industry
  • Self-starter who is adaptive, fast-learning, responsive, reliable, extremely well-organized, detail-oriented and committed to accuracy
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, networking skills, and excellent team player
  • University degree is essential


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior experience at AVP/VP level equivalent as a product manager or sales or relationship manager covering Taiwan institutions
  • CFA or CAIA chartered holder is strongly preferred
