Job Description
The China Retail Business provides QDII (China Qualified Domestic Institutional Investor Scheme) and MRF (Mainland-Hong Kong Mutual Recognition of Funds Scheme) product solutions to banks, online platforms, securities companies, and wealth management firms in China, enabling global investment opportunities for Chinese investors.
As a Sales Support Associate in the China Retail Business Team, you will be a team-oriented self-starter with have keen interest in financial markets, positive attitude, and high level of integrity. You will be a dedicated and proactive Sales Support. Our focus is on delivering exceptional client experiences through innovative and engaging sales strategies.
Job responsibilities:
- Support Client Advisors by handling client inquiries via email, phone, and client templates.
- Collaborate with the RFP team to complete product onboarding accurately and promptly.
- Represent the Intermediary Sales team in project meetings, assessing business/client impacts and coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues and facilitate project roll-outs.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for daily business operations.
- Coordinate with investment, marketing, compliance teams to ensure sales materials are accurate and compliant.
- Prepare and translate pitch books, presentations, and reports between English and Simplified Chinese.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with 4 years of experience in the financial industry.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English, with strong interpersonal and presentation abilities.
- Proficient analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial markets and investment products, particularly funds.
- Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel to China; capable of managing high volumes and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong writing skills in Chinese.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience in Asset Management.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA.
- Fluency in Cantonese
- Familiarity with Morningstar and Bloomberg.
