Art Director – Healthcare

About the role:
You’ll be working with a copywriter partner to help develop breakthrough work, reporting to the creative director. It’s a fast-moving pace at a fast-growing agency.
- It’s not just design. You’ll concept ideas and brainstorm activations along with the team.
This is where a young creative can really grow. We’re looking to win more awards with new ideas and concepts. - That said, it’s a lot of design too! You’ll create thoughtful solutions that are on brand (or push the brand). We want un-pharma-looking work!
- We do a good bit of social. You’ll develop social videos and animations across the board.
- The job changes quickly. One week it’s web design, the next it’s re-branding a biotech, then a convention booth video screen, then a big idea brainstorm, storyboarding, mockups, infographics, presentations, etc. If you love variety, that’s what we offer.
- Incorporate creative/design/layout best practices for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and others.
The bottom line: you’ll be tasked with pushing for bold, creative, exciting ideas and designs across platforms and formats in ways our clients have never seen before.
More Stuff You Should Have:
- 1-3 years of Art direction/design experience
- An interest in the healthcare space
- Experience designing for social media
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and experience in PowerPoint, After Effects, etc.
- An ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- An attention to detail
- A love of creativity
- A willingness to learn and continue learning

New York City Salary range: $64,400-$80,000
