Roundel’s growth is powered by a hybrid team of over 500 team members across the U.S. and India in areas such as Partner Solutions, Performance and Insights, Data Science, Product and Engineering teams.
As an Art Director on the Roundel team, you’ll design world-class creative that drives meaningful connections between national brands and Target guests in close collaboration with a copywriter. From digital banners, social content, brand pages to key campaign visuals, you’ll develop engaging, data-driven advertising content focused on consistent design excellence.
This role requires exceptional graphic design, typography, and photo art direction skills, alongside expertise in design tools and an eye for detail. You’ll stay on top of industry trends, styles, and technology to bring fresh, innovative ideas to life.
Creatively, you’ll deliver work that celebrates brands, resonates with guests, and strengthens Target’s unique approach. By integrating cultural insights and a multicultural lens, you’ll strategically tailor creative solutions to connect authentically with diverse audiences, ensuring Target shows up in meaningful and memorable ways.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Craft compelling & contemporary visual ideas that align with project objectives and brand identity
- Ensure high-quality output across all assets both static and motion
- Excellent attention to detail and brand consistency. Understanding/awareness of the global culture.
- Adhere to structured workflow processes, timelines, , organize and plan details for multiple projects and maintain efficiency
- Collaborate with copywriters, strategists, marketers, program managers to synthesise business requirements and translate them into design solutions that serve the needs of our guests
- Ability to contribute individually and work well within a team. Assist the senior designers in creating design solutions.
- Excellent ability to communicate design thinking and effective presentation skills
- The ability to see projects through from inception to production.

- Strong Creative Portfolio demonstrating breadth of type, design, and photo art direction, particularly in branding & packaging design
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in all key creative software programs - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other design tools. Experience with Aftereffects and/or Premier Pro is a bonus.
