THE JOB:
It is primary responsibility of the Arena Event Ticketing Representative to perform a variety of duties including ticket sales to all properties, for internal shows, events, exhibits, and attractions. The Event Ticketing Representative provides a professional, polished, and anticipatory service for internal and external Guests. The Representative's primary duties include generating ticket sales to events, resolving guest concerns, and handling cash transactions. The Representative will work at rotating locations across arenas, mid-size venues, and other special events as needed.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Sells and processes ticket orders and will-call requests for shows and events occurring at arenas, mid-size venues and special events, providing prompt and courteous guest services. Sell ancillary event products such as, but not limited to, merchandise items, parking, VIP packages, F&B inclusions, and suite product.

Provides knowledgeable answers to guest questions, furnishes detailed information regarding arenas, midsize venues, multiple tenants (NHL, WNBA, NLL, UFC), and special event services and amenities.

Resolves guest complaints within the scope of authority; escalate guest service issues to venue leadership as necessary.

Utilize a cash drawer with large amounts of various tender types, including cash and credit cards, upholding department and federal requirements, i.e. MTL Logs, 8300 IRS Forms, etc.

Supports event day presentation throughout MGMRI venues. Perform ticket verification prior to entry into exhibit and events. Assist with in-house relocations at either a relocation table, interior guest service windows, or throughout the event venue. Effectively manages the guest queue system assembling or disassembling queues and stanchions as needed.

Support guests with Mobile Application adoption and provide technical troubleshooting on both Android and ios.

Assist, with a high level of customer service, VIP guests, Artists, Promoters, Sponsors, and Executive guests.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
-
Prior cash handling experience
