Description:

The Architect, Salesforce (Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud) works directly with clients and stakeholders to design highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable Salesforce solutions. They are hands-on from proposal to development to deployment and responsible for first level escalations.

Architects are expected to maintain an ongoing comprehensive understanding of the cloud computing ecosystem. They are passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail oriented, team-oriented, excellent communicator and have excellent problem-solving abilities. They will deal with highly ambiguous problems, take responsibility for finding solutions, and will drive towards simple solutions to such complex problems.

They possess a strong knowledge of implementation technologies including but not limited to Salesforce.com products and APIs, Lightning, Mobile Applications, Amazon Web Services, Integration / ETL technologies and more.

The Architect is an integral part of the Credera Solutions team who participates in growing the Salesforce Practice with strategy formulation, team building, project management, mentoring and recruitment.

General responsibilities include: 

  • Participate in the sales cycle as needed (solution definition, pre-sales, estimating and project planning). 
  • Meet with clients to determine business, functional and technical requirements to design the technical roadmap to deliver secure, compliant Salesforce solutions based on best practices. 
  • Translate business requirements into component-based framework solutions while working with the development team to implement enhancements and new functionality. 
  • Perform analysis, design, customization and configuration for data migration and integrations. 
  • Participate in and/or lead efforts of full lifecycle development in a mixed environment to support / make new enhancements and automation of existing applications. 
  • Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states. 
  • Troubleshoot key implementation issues and drive to successful resolution. 
  • Establish client relationships as a trusted advisor while providing first level escalation for client concerns and share key milestone celebrations with the team. 
  • Communicate effectively within a globally distributed team. 
  • Document best practices and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Clarifies technical requirements and ensure adequate technical documentation.
  • Ensures outputs of backlog grooming are thorough and backlog is prepared ahead of each sprint.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout the development process.
  • Oversees all development for quality and reports quality concerns with appropriate stakeholders
  • Partners with client team to determine the appropriate audience segment and key data attributes 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience required
    • 1+ Current Salesforce Architect Certification is/are required. (Data, Marketing, Application, Development Lifecycle & Deployment, Integration, Technical…etc.) 
      • Marketing Cloud and/or Data Architect Certification (preferred)
    • 1+ Current Salesforce Developer Certifications is/are required (Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II…ect.)
  • 8+ years of industry experience in the Salesforce ecosystem | Experience with Marketing & Data Cloud are required; Sales / Service / Community / Commerce / App Clouds…etc are all a strong bonus.
  • 5+ years of development in any combination of core competencies: APEX, VisualForce, SOQL, Triggers, Workflows, Unit Testing, Java SE & EE, Java, JSF…etc.
  • 3+ years of Architecture Design Solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • 3+ years of experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools
  • 2+ years of development in Lightning framework (Aura / LWC)
  • 2+ years of experience using relational databases and understanding of queries (SQL, T-SQL and/or PL/SQL)
  • 1+ years of experience with Pega Workflow & decision support solutions
  • Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce architecture and APIs
  • Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development 
  • Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.) 
  • Motivated self-starter, able to change directions quickly when priorities shift and quickly think through problems to design and deliver solutions. 
  • Experience working in a consultancy firm. 
  • Excellent client-facing written and oral communication skills. 
  • Ability to work within the US without limitations. 
  • Ability to work in office 3 days per week.

Compensation:

The salary range listed is for informational purposes. Credera treats all applicants as individuals taking into consideration but not limited to their professional and academic experience, specialized training, certifications and associated responsibilities as it relates to our specific industry. The salary range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for each unique employee. An estimated base salary of $160K – 175K plus a variable component is anticipated for this role in the US.

Hybrid Work Model:

Our employees have the flexibility to work remotely two days per week. We expect our team members to spend 3 days per week in person with the flexibility to choose the days and times that work best for both them and their project or internal teams. This could be at a Credera office or at the client site. You'll work closely with your project team to align on how you balance both the flexibility that we want to provide with the connection of being together to produce amazing results for our clients.

Travel:

Our goal is to keep out-of-market travel to a minimum and most projects do not require significant travel. While certain projects can require frequent travel (up to 80% for a period of time), our average travel percentage over a year for team members is typically between 10-30%. We try to take a personal approach to travel. You will submit your travel preferences which our staffing teams will take into account when aligning you to a role.
