Job Description
Global Security Fusion Center (GSFC) Threat Detection and response team provide services by analyzing, responding to, and remediating cyber-security incidents for on-premises, cloud, and affiliated networks for Allstate and its family of companies.
What we are looking for:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in cybersecurity or an Information Technology (IT) related field from an accredited university.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communications skills and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with computer networks, operating systems, and various cybersecurity tools and technologies.
- Since it is a 24/7 monitoring team candidate should be ready to work on weekend shifts & night shifts.
- Good to have knowledge on any scripting languages.
- Good to have any cyber security certifications like Security Plus/CEH etc. or any cyber security course completed.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze and investigate security events and alerts on SIEM tool and other security technologies.
- Follow detailed operational process and procedures to appropriately analyze, escalate, and assist in remediation of critical information security incidents.
