We are currently looking for a Applied Market Workflow Specialist to join our Asia Pacific Technical Specialization and Solution Team. In this position, you will develop innovative analytical workflows, deliver instrument demonstrations and application support to our customers.

You are the expert of customer workflows and solutions for Food, Environmental, Chemical, or Material industries with key market knowledge and knowhow. You will deliver trusted answers to achieve customer outcomes, based on deeper understanding of the market workflow requirements.

Support and lead customers with advanced application workflow and consultancy.

Be the scientific and workflow connection with key opinion leader and key customers.

Conduct market sensing & collect Voice of Customers.
What will you do?
-
Provide in-field application and technical support to our customer at Australia and New Zealand, including customer presentations and technical visits, on-site demonstrations, on-site application support, customer workshops, and any other relevant sales activities.

Enable customer success with post-sales support to the customer, including onsite instrument and product training, method optimization or adaptation according to customers’ needs, ongoing technical support and any relevant customer satisfaction activities.

Collaborate, partner and support our sales account managers in Australia and New Zealand for technical and application enquiries in the development of technical sales strategies.

Provide expertise and technical consultancy on how Agilent solution can be adopted in Food, Environmental, Chemical or Material markets.

Prepares and delivers technical seminars to customers or potential customers and contributes to recognized scientific forums, including written, oral and poster presentations.

Analyzes customer requirements and recommends appropriate solutions.

Solves complex, high impact system/application engineering services problems

Work across Agilent Asia Pacific region to share customer insights and best practice. Contribute to overall Agilent APAC success.

Ensure operational discipline by following relevant sales and application process. Provide report and deliverables in a timely manner

Be the face of Agilent by ensuring global policies and standard processes are adopted and followed. Build customer relationships and maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty

Must be willing to travel within Australia and New Zealand, as well as outside of Australia and New Zealand when required. (Up to 50% of the time).
Qualifications
Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master's or PhD in Chemistry/Biochemistry or other Life-science discipline
-
5+ years of work experience in analytical, scientific or contract testing labs, or scientific instrument industry in Australia and New Zealand.

Experience in Food, Environmental, Chemical or Material related applications using one or combination of different analytical technologies (LC, GC, GC/MS, LC/MS or Spectroscopy).

Familiar with Food, Environmental, Chemical or Material regulatory requirements and local country guidelines.

Expertise with gas phase (GC, GC/MS), liquid phase (HPLC, LC/MS), or atomic/molecular spectroscopy technologies are highly desirable.

Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in application implementation and troubleshooting and ability to work independently

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communications skills

Driven, and self-motivation

Confidence to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to learn new technologies on your own

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
