DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Use machine learning to generate insights about the Operations business to formulate relevant high impact business questions. Build robust Analytics capabilities which can be scalable across millions of documents across the company. Strategically leverage reusable components and state-of-the-art techniques available internally or procured externally. Develop production quality code and share best coding practices while following the agile development paradigm. Communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences, while providing appropriate context and building trust with stakeholders. Document approaches and techniques used. Collaborate with data scientists and tech partners to design and deploy machine learning services that can be integrated with strategic cloud environments. Mentor junior-level data scientists and data engineers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related quantitative field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as Applied Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Associate, Data Scientist, Software Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related quantitative field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Applied Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Associate, Data Scientist, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills: Natural Language Processing (NLP) in a commercial environment; language models; word, sentence, or document embeddings; architectures including Transformers; pre-trained models including BERT; Fasttext; Gensim; Wordd2vec; programming in Python; Agile development paradigm; machine learning APIs; computational packages including Scikit-Learn, NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas; and neural network packages such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. Requires one (1) year of experience with the following skills: development in Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments using Docker, EC2, S2 and AWS Cli; developing, deploying, and debugging machine learning models in a production environment; creating and maintaining REST APIs, libraries, and Docker containers; Big Data technologies including Pyspark; large scale data analysis using ETL pipelines; and evaluating and A/B testing ML models in production.

Full-Time. Salary: $183,600 - $260,000 per year.
