This role involves strategic oversight of testing operations, direct management of the engineering test team, and close collaboration with cross-functional departments to drive quality and innovation.

At Morse Micro you will be working with experienced professionals and engineers, some of whom are the team that invented the original Wi-Fi technology that is ubiquitous today.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the applications engineering test team.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.
  • Oversee software regression and hardware design validation testing.
  • Ensure the team meets performance, coverage, and range comparison targets.
  • Drive the creation of detailed test reports and marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer support teams.
  • Manage the debugging process for complex issues.
  • Maintain and enhance the infrastructure required for extensive testing and automation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in applications engineering and testing with wireless communication technologies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical acumen.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with OTA, multi-device setups, and complex hardware/software environments.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of de-sense testing, range testing, and RF coverage comparisons.
  • Experience in creating marketing collateral and technical reports.
