Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Jersey City, NJ location.
Duties: Collect business requirements for acquisition and maintenance of reference data for financial securities including equities, fixed income, money market, funds, and derivatives. Research and analyze vendor data feeds to understand business requirements for Securities Master Central (SMC) and translate into system specifications. Perform data analysis using SQL and other tools on complex database system. Reverse engineer existing platform and provide end to end solutions to implement updates and enhancements to reference data platform. Perform data modeling and data profiling to capture required data elements from various vendor feeds including Bloomberg, DTCC, and other market providers. Create ETL (Extract Transform and Load) documents. Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of data though the implementation and enforcement of data governance standards. Perform system integration testing, conduct User Acceptance Testing, and provide testing and production support in implementation of end-to-end solutions. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Business Administration, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in the financial services industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Researching and performing data analysis / gap analysis using PL/SQL queries to build data flow and data models for enterprise wide platforms; Performing in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to resolve high-impact problems/projects including automation of regulatory reports, management reports, consent order programs, optimizing high-volume data processing to meet SLA requirements, and business transformation for reporting maintenance including rules, metadata, and processes; Developing and implementing transformation logic to support data consumption requirements from data vendors using ETL tools on a centralized database system to process, transform, and re-distribute collected data to downstream systems via SFTP, API Cloud, or other secure channel; Documenting requirements, creating mapping, function specifications, ETL documents, and tracking project tasks and issues in Atlassian JIRA and SharePoint; and Designing and constructing test plans for a database using SQL scripts to ensure expected results without affecting function of the existing system in SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) testing before releasing changes to production environments.
