Application Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented Associate Application Tester with solid SQL skills to join our team. You will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, validating data using SQL queries, and ensuring high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute test cases (manual and automated) to ensure software quality.
• Write, update, and maintain test documentation including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
• Perform data validation and backend testing using SQL queries.
• Report, track, and manage defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to understand requirements and test scenarios.
• Participate in regression testing, UAT support, and deployment validation.
• Maintain test environments and support testing activities across various stages of SDLC.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in application testing.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
• Basic knowledge of APIs and web services testing.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
