About the Role:
As an Application Specialist at UltiMaker, you'll be the technical backbone of our growth in Japan and South Korea. You'll analyze customer needs, showcase our solutions, and lead pre-sales activities and consulting projects. Reporting to both the Vice-President APAC and Channel Manager in Japan and South Korea, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving innovation in the region.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with the Asia-Pacific Application Consulting team to develop technical capabilities for Japan and South Korea
- Become a 3D printing thought-leader by hosting webinars, seminars, and leading consulting projects
- Design showcase prints for various processes and applications
- Generate and localize best practice documentation (reports, print guidelines, design guidelines)
- Provide technical solutions to sales teams, partners, and customers, highlighting UltiMaker's unique benefits
- Support business and sales partners in proposing design improvements to potential customers
- Contribute field insights for the development of next-generation printers, accessories, and materials

What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Excellent CAD design skills
- Relevant experience in 3D printing and knowledge of its applications
- Customer-oriented approach with strong problem-solving abilities
- Natural talent for planning and organizing, with adaptability to handle unexpected situations
- Conceptual thinking with a creative and proactive mindset
- Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation in English, Japanese, and Korean
- Eagerness to learn more about additive manufacturing techniques

Bonus Points:
- Experience working in the 3D printing industry
- Knowledge of any other Asian language
