Responsibilities

  • Address and resolve basic and routine support requests specifically for billing modules or billing processes

  • Diagnose and resolve standard client questions or problems over the telephone or Internet. Adhere to Netsmart processes and best practices

  • Escalate support requests as required

  • Enter quality information into tracking systems and contribute to knowledge bases and documentation

  • Provide solution or process training to clients including assistance with data setup and testing

  • Prepare new or complex source data for payer or billing configurations and complete entry into client systems

  • Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, testing, or troubleshooting

  • Complete various medical billing configuration projects, including training of internal teams and external clients on billing modules, solution functionality, billing process setups, or other projects as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent required

  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills including de-escalation, empathy, and a sense of urgency in resolving concerns

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook

Preferred

  • Experience with high-level inbound calling

  • Healthcare solution support and configuration experience

  • Healthcare billing workflow experience
