Location: Harrisburg, PA - Must be PA resident
Position Type: Hybrid, onsite every day for first 2 weeks then 1 day per week. All telework must be performed in PA.

Position Overview:
The Application Developer will support the Resource First Portal (RFP) system upgrade in compliance with WCAG Accessibility requirements. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ASP.Net, C#.Net, .NET MVC, SQL Server, and Angular Framework, along with experience in modernizing applications, troubleshooting, and converting monolithic applications to microservices while collaborating in a fast-paced development environment.
Duties:
- Analysis, design, coding, and testing of application code.
- Application troubleshooting and bug fixes.
- Upgrade existing applications to WCAG accessible applications
- Convert Monolithic applications to Microservices applications
- Record, Verifying, Log and Document testing results.
- Maintain versioning and source control with TFS.
- Develop applications in Angular Framework
- Document and present recommendations for issue/risk remediation to team leads and managers.
Required Skills:
- Candidates must have at least three (3) years of experience working with the Microsoft .NET Framework with MVC for application development.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience using SQL Server 2016 or higher is required for database management and development.
- Applicants must have at least one (1) year of experience working with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for report generation.
- Experience of at least one (1) year using Microsoft TFS or a similar tool for version control and source code management is required.
- Candidates must have at least one (1) year of experience developing applications using the Angular Framework.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in Microservices development is required.
- Applicants must have at least one (1) year of experience developing applications using ASP.NET.
- Candidates should have at least one (1) year of experience programming with C#.NET.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience of at least one (1) year working with XML for data structuring and processing is preferred.
- Applicants with one (1) year of experience using HTML for front-end development are desired.
- Experience of one (1) year with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data integration and ETL processes is preferred.
- Candidates with one (1) year of experience in GIS Mapping for spatial data analysis and visualization are preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience working with Entity Framework for database access and ORM is desirable.
- Experience of at least one (1) year using Telerik GUI Controls for application UI development is preferred.
- Candidates with one (1) year of experience in WCAG Accessibility Development to ensure compliance with web accessibility standards are preferred.
