Job Description
Essential Functions
- The APAP Process Engineering Intern will work alongside APAP (acetaminophen) manufacturing personnel to learn the tasks associated with a production engineer role. Typical activities would include process monitoring and troubleshooting, deviation investigation and root cause analysis, batch record review and modification, shutdown planning, and completion of small process-related projects.
Minimum Requirements
Education / Experience / Skills:
- Undergraduate in engineering discipline, chemical engineering preferred
Organizational Relationship/Scope:
- Intern will have completed course work required to matriculate into their intended engineering discipline
Working Conditions:
- Intern will be part of the APAP department staff, working very closely with APAP production engineers, supervisors and operators. This position will also interact frequently with other departments including EHS, Quality, Maintenance and Technical Operations (Engineering).
