What you’ll do ​& Who you are

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer (d/f/m) to join our Dealer Communication and Lead Handling team in Berlin.

You will work in a passionate team that's on a mission to create a high-quality communication and lead-handling experience for our car dealers. You will report to an Engineering Manager, along with other mobile, backend and frontend engineers in the product team.

This is a hybrid role, and our office is in Berlin Charlottenburg.

What you'll do:

• Lead the development of Android applications using Kotlin or Java, following best practices and coding standards.

• Collaborate with the product manager and UX/UI designer to create scalable application architectures.

• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.

• Implement unit tests and automated testing strategies to verify the applications' correctness and reliability.

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other issues to enhance the performance of the Android applications.

• Stay updated with industry trends, Android platform updates, and technologies. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the development processes and application performance.

• Collaborate with other Android engineers, backend developers, designers, and product managers to define project requirements, milestones, and timelines.

• Follow security best practices and ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations throughout development.
