Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Build data modernization roadmaps for data estate. Modernize data using standard vocabularies, enhanced identifiers, descriptive and structured metadata, open media formats, and other documented best practices. Incorporate data consumer feedback to enhance the data being published. Establish training content and launch trainings related to data modernization. Identify and work with external vendors to onboard them for data modernization training. Identify and mitigate platform and process bottlenecks for data modernization. Deliver communications on data modernization to stakeholder groups including product teams. Lead reporting of data modernization status.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 (Five) years of experience in the job offered or as Analytics Solutions Manager, Business Technology Consultant/Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 (Seven) years of experience in the job offered or as Analytics Solutions Manager, Business Technology Consultant/Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Digital transformation projects; Managing data-related initiatives, such as cloud migration, data modernization, or platform modernization; Advanced data analytics including data wrangling and data modeling; Business and technology Stakeholder management, including communicating with stakeholders on project progress, risks and blockers, and gathering functional requirements and aligning the project scope with business objectives; Structuring, designing, and storing data; Providing insights using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling; AWS; Alteryx; SQL; Tableau; Managing cross-functional collaborations between technology, product, and business teams; End-to-end project management using Agile methodology; ETL; and Data ecosystem, including data ingestion, data storage, data quality, data consumption, and data privacy.
Job Location: 575 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07310. This position requires up to 20% domestic travel.
Full-Time. Salary: $175,947 - $205,000 per year.
