We seek to employ an experienced Analytics (MIS) Manager who will join the EMEA Regional Management Information System team. The successful candidate will be based in Athens under the leadership of the Regional Controller and will be responsible for evaluating business performance and decisions, simulating potential outcomes through sensitivity analyses, conducting data analyses and presenting to Senior Management, Business Partners and Regulators.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business partnership & development
- Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions and be able to interpret and communicate results.
- Perform and document data analysis, data validation and data mapping/design.
- Bring new big data solutions and prediction models to start exploiting the endless possibilities of the massive amount of data available.
- Proactively communicate with Business Leaders, Business Partners for data requirements.
- Effectively cooperate with database developers to understand database structures, security access rights.
- Effectively cooperate with data source colleagues, define data descriptions, and lead data cleansing projects.
- Lead projects for data provision to External Financial Regulator bodies in conjunction with compliance team.
Process Development & Establishment
- Review and improve existing systems and collaborate with teams to integrate new systems.
- Improve automatization and eliminate manual tasks.
- Define development needs, scope of works for enhanced reporting to database development team.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of experience in leading analytics for teams like product, operations, or finance in a fast-paced company using agile methodologies.
- Excellent managerial skills, able to develop and to make team members grow, based on continuous performance measurement and constructive feedback.
- Strong commercial awareness with proven expertise getting deep into numbers and data, questioning assumptions to generating insights and solving complex business problems.
- Expert in data analysis and visualization, with expertise in one or more analytics tools (Power BI, Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python, R, or similar).
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Eligible to work in the EU on a full-time permanent basis without the need for employer sponsorship.
