We are looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer who is passionate about turning raw data into actionable insights and enabling teams to focus on creating value. Your work will ensure data is meticulously modeled, accurate, and directly tied to better decision-making across Metacore. As part of the Central Business & Analytics team, you’ll collaborate closely with User Acquisition, New Games, and the Merge Mansion teams. Our growing Business & Analytics team is building and maintaining a modern data platform that unifies insights across all our games and operations, with the mission of enabling every team to make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities
- Collaborating closely with Game Development, Marketing, and Finance teams to design and deliver analytics solution like A/B testing pipelines and ROAS modeling
- Developing and maintaining our scalable cloud data warehouse, leveraging dbt and Looker, and establishing a well-defined semantic layer that unifies business logic across data products.
- Owning the data lifecycle – planning tracking, building data models, and creating self-serve analytics products such as dashboards and data apps that minimize overhead and maximize insight.
- Optimizing and automating by continuously refining data pipelines and workflows, reducing complexity and manual tasks to speed time-to-insight.
- Keeping up best practices by sharing knowledge, driving improvement initiatives, and fostering collaboration across the Data discipline.
- Ensuring data quality and a strong future vision by implementing proactive checks, using test-driven troubleshooting, and contributing to shaping our data platform’s strategic roadmap.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with modern data tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Looker, GitHub, and command line–based workflows.
- Advanced SQL proficiency and a proven track record in data analytics or engineering roles.
- Robust data modeling skills and solid understanding of industry-standard methodologies (e.g. Kimball) and best practices.
- Software Engineering best practices, for example familiarity with version control, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- A stakeholder-focused mindset and skills at translating business needs into scalable, maintainable data models and analytics products.
- Collaborative and mentoring spirit combined with ability to lead discussions and sharing knowledge with the team.
- An efficient and insight-driven approach to work, and a passion for streamlining workflows, delivering high-impact insights, and continuously improving processes.
In addition to these, it would be nice but not mandatory for you to have these as well:
- Previous experience in the games industry
- Familiarity designing and maintaining semantic layers.
- Strong innovation mindset and eagerness to explore emerging technologies
