Job Description
The Opportunity:
As an Analytics Developer at Mattel APAC, you'll play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making within our Global Supply Chain organization.
Reporting to the Analytics Development Manager, you'll be responsible for analyzing disparate global data sources, identifying patterns and trends, and reporting insights to key stakeholders. Your work will contribute to enhancing our understanding of our processes, customers, and the broader supply chain landscape.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Data Analysis:
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources using SQL.
- Analyse data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and automated processes.
- Dashboard Development:
- Build interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Cognos, or Thoughtspot.
- Collaborate with business users to understand their reporting needs and design effective visualizations.
- Data Governance:
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the organization.
- Adhere to data governance standards and best practices.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and improve efficiency.
- Support data-driven initiatives to optimize supply chain operations.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, particularly in querying and manipulating data from star schema databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools and dashboard development.
- A data-driven mindset with a passion for uncovering insights from data.
- Balanced in business acumen and technicalities to better manage stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English, good command of Cantonese/ Mandarin is a plus
- Experience in supply chain planning of data analytics development.
- Proficiency in coding languages like Python or R.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques.
- Experience with project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
