The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) consultant to join our Customer Services Analytics Support team based in our offices in Melbourne.
Reporting to the Customer Services Delivery Partner for Analytics, the successful candidate will work closely with key customers across Australia and New Zealand in support and ongoing development of their Oracle EPM solutions.
The role will be delivered via a mix of on site and remote delivery, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential in the success of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the all facets of the business supporting, enhancing and extending existing financial and commercial models developed using Oracle EPM Cloud Planning suite.
- Liaising with customers and colleagues on requirements gathering and support of existing solution.
- Data reconciliation and financial modelling support
- Monitor system performance day to day, identify and troubleshoot issues before they become problems
- Assist with upskilling and training activities for the customer including preparing training material
Understand and be able to explain new and existing complex financial models to various stakeholder groups
Key Skills Required
To be successful in this position you will possess many of the following attributes:
- Experience in developing and supporting financial models
- Strong excel model build skills – experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Formal tertiary qualifications in Commerce or related field
- Finance / Accounting skills will be highly regarded
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Process-focused, with keen attention to detail
- Demonstratable experience in supporting Oracle Planning, Hyperion Planning and Essbase platforms
- Experience in other Oracle EPM products highly regarded
- Experience driving performance and improvements across a business
