DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Responsible for end-to-end preparation of business intelligence solutions by development of dashboards using Tableau & Alteryx. Support analysis delivered to senior management and various stakeholders for the line of business. Develop and enhance Alteryx workflows, collecting data from disparate data sources and summarizing the data as defined in requirements gathering with the stakeholders. Utilize best practices to ensure that data is sourced from authoritative data sources. Develop and enhance data visualizations utilizing Tableau to provide intuitive insights and help with decision support to our key stakeholders. Conduct thorough validation of each component of the business intelligence solution providing evidence that all data and visualizations are reporting accurate insights and evidence in the control process. Engage in testing and meetings for related server upgrades, data source changes, and other technology components that we source data from. Utilize knowledge of financials and financial metrics to build effective solutions that simplify, automate, and add value. Serve as subject matter expert and mentor team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Visualization Associate, Senior Analytics Engineer, Senior Developer, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Coordinating with onsite counterparts and clients; estimation of effort and schedule to meet the customer business time lines; development and maintaining a detailed project plan; representing the business in requirements gathering and data modeling and analytics sessions; identifying data risks and opportunities; performing data profiling and domain analysis of source systems; understanding integration rules for translating multiple sources into a single business view of the data; delivering the complex dashboards before the deadlines; creating complex SQL queries, stored procedures and views for the data in database; handling communication to business and technical users as per the processes defined Schedule proactive communication of status about Incidents; MS SQL server 2008; Tableau 9.x; Tableau 10.2019.x; developing and maintaining data governance communication material and data policies, procedures and standards; and conducting complex root cause analysis on the business problems with any related analytical dashboards.
