The Opportunity: 

As a UI/UX Designer, you will be passionate about designing beautiful, thoughtful applications that anticipate client needs in the private markets and fintech industries. You will be curious, organized, and have a bias towards action. In addition, you will be involved in all aspects of the development cycle from innovation to launch and have a voice in the product roadmap.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Support product team by translating business goals and user feedback into thoughtful product design

  • Design elegant and intuitive user experiences for institutional clients, including UI patterns and components, based on research and usage analytics

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with internal and external stakeholders

  • Create user journeys, wireframes, lo- and hi-fidelity prototypes, functionality & interaction instructions

  • Embrace design feedback culture, enjoy rapid testing and an iterative environment, be comfortable with ambiguity as product requirements change

  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure execution of your designs to spec

  • UAT development work, maintain UI inventory, edit product team members’ designs to uphold design quality

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a strong attention to detail and sometimes little guidance

  • Work with marketing team to create marketing collateral and creative assets as needed to ensure brand consistency

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Your background will include:

  • Undergraduate degree in graphic design or similar creative field

  • 0-4+ years’ experience

  • Available online portfolio of design projects, design systems, varying fidelity designs

  • Demonstrated proficiency with design and prototyping tools (i.e. Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision)

  • Proficient in visual design, with understanding of typography, layout, color, design systems, and web accessibility best practices

  • Experience using PowerPoint

  • Detail oriented, proactive, and solution-oriented

  • Champion of user or human centered design

  • Experience in institutional financial services, asset management preferred

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript preferred
