Team Leader Job Purpose
Delivery team members deliver on and embody Exiger’s purpose daily – making the world a safer place to do business – through researching, writing, reviewing, editing and developing reputational due diligence that inform business decisions for many of the world’s largest and most influential organizations and institutions globally. Delivery team members are on the front lines helping our clients understand with whom they are doing business and identify potential risks associated with such business relationships.
Communicates company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to the team. Motivates team members and assesses performance. Provides help to management, including hiring and training, and keeps management updated on team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive analyst team growth based on a range of defined metrics and qualifications.
- Foster team environment and drive team success through continuous mentorship and coaching teammates to advance their growth, development and research expertise.
- Facilitate trainings to advance teammates’ technical and professional growth and development, in coordination with the training team.
- Propose and help implement solutions to improve existing policies, procedures, processes and standards
- Prepared to present findings to clients and answer their questions.
- All other business activities including but not limited to in the research and delivery of our products and services
- Conducts weekly or based on needs meetings with each member of their team, in order to provide updates and gathering feedback.
- Closely monitors the performance of new team members within the 90-day probationary period.
- Provides weekly and or based on needs reports to their direct manager, in accordance with the guidance and templates provided
- Answers to direct manager regarding the activities connected with position.
Duties
- Lead Analysts to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, continuous improvement, and goal accomplishment.
- Help team manage their pipeline of work and triage workload.
- Delivery of brief, narrative due diligence products.
- Lead and/or participate in additional Due Diligence Projects as needed.
- Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks.
- Identify training needs of the team based on several criteria (metrics, CM feedback) and provide training to employees on the due diligence process on a periodic basis.
- Answers team member questions regarding the activities that the Analyst have to handle.
- Supporting team members regarding all important Project that Analysts handle in the present, but also in the future and be compliant with client specific requirements: working very closely with the the UK Office on different projects activities, especially with the Client Manager.
- Perform weekly Staffing on ICV Monitoring, working very closely with the Vancouver Team
- Splitting the Reports with the Team, conducting and verifying the accuracy of the team projects.
- Produce near perfect reports with no content issues, and minimal spelling / formatting edits needed.
- Write clear, concise and thoroughly researched reports for clients using a variety of open-source and public records web-based tools.
- Provide specific and meaningful feedback about other’s casework.
- Review casework completed by others for content and editorial accuracy.
- Exhibit excellent communication and listening skills across modalities and with colleagues of all levels, in all locations
- Scope new cases in support of new and prospective casework.
- Participates in the recruitment of new colleagues in the company together with the HR department, the delimitations of responsibilities being established by internal procedures.
- Conduct performance review for direct reports, according to internal procedures.
- Ensure the confidentiality of the information and documents to which both they and the team members have access (professionaly and personally) in accordance with data protection legislation, with internal regulations and internal norms, including the confidentiality agreement.
- Ensure that they and the alocated team members follow the internal procedures, the Internal Regulations and the job description.
- Has the obligation to enroll in and complete all training and testing sessions provided by the external partners in the field of occupational health and safety, fire prevention and extinguishing and also to verify that the above stipulated are accomplished by the alocated team members.
- Is responsible for being compliant with occupational safety and health regulations, fire prevention and extinguishing, having the obligation to immediately report to the employer and / or designated workers any work situation about which they have good reason to consider it a danger to the safety and health of themselves/colleagues , as well as any deficiencies in the protection systems.
- Have the obligation to use and keep, in good conditions all the equipment and devices provided by the company so they may carry out the activity.
- Executes any other dispositions given by the direct management team in the fulfiment of the company's strategies, within the limits of the legal framework.
Knowledge & Skills
- PC usage: Word, Outlook;
- Usage of different software necessary to perform day by day activity;
- Technical excellence and SME of the delivery process for the Analyst team
- Extensive knowledge of risk assessment tools, products and best practices
- Knowledge of Due Diligence and regulatory requirements

Candidate profile
- It is mandatory to complete higher education with a bachelor's degree;
- Minimum 6 Months in Exiger as Analyst - mandatory
- Managerial experience is a plus.
