How we LEAD:
As a member of UMG’s People Systems team, the Analyst, People Systems will help ensure all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Workday and a strong desire to learn and grow within the Workday ecosystem.
How you’ll CREATE:
- Help manage day-to-day operations by monitoring and prioritizing requests in the ticket queue
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting, working closely with end-users to analyze and translate the functional requirements into Workday configurations
- Assist in the maintenance of Workday security groups, role assignments, and user permissions
- Conduct thorough testing of system fixes and updates to ensure issues are resolved without any downstream impacts
- Upload EIBs to perform mass updates across various Workday modules (compensation changes, job changes, etc) while ensuring data accuracy and troubleshooting errors
- Partner with HR support groups to make sure they have the information they need to accurately respond to inquiries
- Collaborate with HR, IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify gaps and risks, suggest alternatives, and advise on best practices
- Understand dependencies across Workday modules (Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll and Benefits) and integrations with other systems

- Experience managing ticketing system (JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar applications)
- Must demonstrate intellectual curiosity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Comfortable with leading multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize decisions and tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- 2-3 years configuration and support experience with Workday HCM and Security with at least one of the following: Advanced Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, Talent, or Time and Absence
- Experience supporting a global organization strongly preferred
