Analyst, Payments (UAT Testing) – Pune, India

As an Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to establish core digital banking and payment solutions globally. It has a significant role in realizing the vision of the product strategy and ensuring that products and services are developed with the needs of our customers in mind. This role has significant relationships and responsibilities outside the local team, including working with product, design, technology, program, business, regions, marketing, compliance and legal.
Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Design, develop, and execute test scenarios and test cases to validate payment system functionality, performance, and usability.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of payment processes, including payment initiation, authorization, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Identify and document defects, issues, and risks, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Participate in UAT meetings, providing updates on testing progress, issues, and recommendations.
- Coordinate with business users to facilitate UAT activities, including test script execution and user training.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in payment systems and UAT methodologies.
- Act as a subject matter expert on payment processes and systems, providing guidance and support to stakeholders as needed.
Role Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in quality assurance with a firm understanding of User Acceptance Testing and API.
- Comprehensive experience in test automation, SQL, Database & Data Analytical.
- Experience in Agile and Iterative development methodologies and SAFe methodology is a plus.
- Experience in the payments/banking or cards domain is an added advantage.
