Job Description
Position Summary:
The role is responsible for operational matters related to Cboe Canada’s Listed Issuers including the equity listing process management, corporate actions and transactions in the production environment. Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders including management, key vendors, business units, market regulator and Listed Issuers to support corporate and ETP listings.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Provide exchange platform support, including listing process management, creation of new securities, modifications/changes to existing securities, delistings, and other relevant corporate actions.
- Liaise with Trade Desk and operations teams to ensure smooth execution/processing of operational tasks including coordination of halts/suspensions/resumptions, and dissemination of daily bulletins.
- Operationally onboard new clients (issuers) and administer access to Cboe tools (CRM, issuer portal, reporting tools etc.)
- Perform daily systems checks of equity listing management tool to ensure operational excellence of these tools.
- Support customers and vendors in connection with new product launches, listing of new securities and other operational issues that may arise in connection with Cboe Canada Listed Issuers.
- Assist Listings-Regulatory team in the drafting of corporate action bulletins.
- Work cross-functionally with other business units to ensure clear communication of listing/launch dates and plans.
- Participate in special projects as required.
The ideal candidate has:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical/operations support function.
- Familiarity with trading and operational aspects related to listing and trading of securities in Canada.
- Analytical skills and ability to use data (order/trade information) to provide support related to queries from Issuers/regulators/sales teams etc.
- Strong drafting, writing and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
