If you are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Wealth Management, Global Derivative Solutions cross asset Product Specialist, you have found the right team.
As an Analyst in the Global Derivative Solutions team, you will be responsible for creating and updating marketing materials, driving efficiencies in sales management, and providing trade analytics along with providing coverage and risk management for our suite of derivative solutions products in the Global Private Bank. The team is primarily based in Mumbai and interacts with all global counterparts.
We're looking for exceptionally talented individuals who are collaborative and motived with a background in Currencies, Commodity, Equity or Fixed Income derivative products across OTC or Structured Notes.
The Private Bank Global Derivative Solutions desk focuses on cross asset derivatives in Equities, Currencies, Commodities & Fixed Income derivatives. We develop strategic market views that we market to advisors and clients and analyze client portfolios to determine the best implementation vehicles to express or protect against market views using derivative and structured products.
As part of the dynamic team, you will have an opportunity to participate in all parts of this process and be able to create an impact via your data analytics, communication, and problem-solving skills. The Global Derivative Solutions team seeks to provide comprehensive coverage alongside our global team in New York, London, Hong Kong and Singapore which all partner closely on a day-to-day basis in a coordinated way.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop market knowledge in Equities, FX, Commodities, and Fixed Income derivative solutions, including derivatives and structured products.
- Manage risk controls impacting the desk, such as XVA and Credit risk, and adhere to risk & compliance policies.
- Provide education and assist in creating marketing materials, including pitch books, for sales teams and clients.
- Support marketing efforts for trade ideas and contribute to internal marketing forums with content for daily meetings.
- Prepare, monitor, and communicate business metrics to management regularly.
- Maintain detailed metrics, identify key trends, and develop resources for the sales force.
- Build strategic relationships with the Global GDS team.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders like Asset Class Leaders, Structuring, and Business Management.
- Handle Asset Class Leaders' needs, including inbox management and reporting.
- Work with Global AL strategists to develop and present investment ideas.
- Assist in implementing digital, tech, and AI transformation agendas with new processes and systems.
- Manage market risks from a trade pricing perspective and follow risk & compliance policies.
- Identify business strategies to support growth and platform enhancements.
- Stay informed on economics, international finance, foreign exchange/rates research, and international news events.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in wealth management, financial services, or a related field.
- CA/MBA/CFA (charter holder or pursuing)/CAIA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Tableau.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and relationship management skills.
- Passionate to learn about all aspects of Derivatives and Structured products.
- Strong team player with an entrepreneurial predisposition and strong interpersonal skills as required to interact with personnel across the team and firm.
- Strong initiative, energy and confidence completing assignments with limited supervision.
- Demonstrate a strong interest and passion for financial markets, international affairs and geopolitical events.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge and experience in the Derivatives and Structured products (any asset class).
- Project management and follow-through skills.
- Sensitivity to discretely handle highly confidential and related client/manager information.
- Comfort with organizing and interpreting large amounts of data.
