Position Summary

The Omnichannel Analytics team leads our mission to be a customer-centric, data-driven organization. This team effectively tracks CVS’s customer journeys by defining and executing data strategies meant to enable growth through customers’ shopping behaviors, needs, intents, and responses. In addition, the team supports advanced analytics and hypothesis-driven approaches that quickly transform data into actionable, customer-centric insights.

The Analyst, Digital Analytics, will be responsible for producing reports and ad hoc analysis to help answer business questions and create insights that drive decisions on a weekly basis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate in an open and honest way that quickly builds trust and respect.  You have a curious mind and enjoy solving problems.  You have superior excel and SQL skills and have hands-on data analysis experience using any of the standard quantitative analytics tools (SQL, Python, Snowflake etc.).

This position is hybrid remote or on site at one of our CVS Hubs (Boston, New York City, Hartford, Chicago, or Rhode Island) and will report to the Senior Manager of Omnichannel Analytics with consistent exposure to more senior leadership within the Loyalty and Omnichannel division.

Delivers Results - 50%

  • Perform ad hoc reporting and respond to analysis requests from various business partners
  • Assist in long- and short-term projects through plan construction, A/B testing, and results analysis
  • Support the innovation and maintenance of our Self-Service reporting ecosystem
  • Analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and annual website KPI’s, reporting results and sharing recommendations with the broader organization

Analytics - 25%

  • Ability to identify the relevant data required (and build reports measuring the same) to achieve larger business objectives
  • Superior Excel skills: Ability to develop flexible Excel models using disparate data sources
  • Use SQL queries to manipulate and pull relevant data
  • Basic ability with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBi
  • Hands-on data analysis using any of the standard quantitative analytics tools (SQL, Python, Snowflake etc.)
  •  A/B Testing and results analysis

Drive Innovation - 15%

  • Synthesize insights and ask key questions to drive towards strategic goals.
  • Look for ways to break through implementation barriers rather than be impeded by them.
  • Be curious and explore new data that can help enhance our understanding of our consumers
  • Developing data visualization dashboards and reports

Champion Culture - 10%

  • Responsible for self-development and participation in engagement programs.
  • Participate with onboarding tasks for new hires; builds, maintains, and enhances all onboarding documentations. 
  • Creating a culture centered on inclusion and well-being.  
  • Leverage existing enterprise tools, such as talent profiles and enterprise development programs, for self-development.

Skill In:

  • Ability to identify the relevant data required (and build reports measuring the same) to achieve larger business objectives
  • Superior Excel skills: Ability to develop flexible Excel models using disparate data sources
  • Basic ability using SQL queries to manipulate and pull relevant data
  • Basic ability with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBi
  • Strong time management skills, evidenced by experience being accountable to multiple deliverables on staggered deadlines.
  • Strong personal integrity and judgment, evidenced by a track record of managing highly sensitive or highly visible business matters.
  • Strong communication skills in both formal and informal writing and speech
  • Demonstrating strong attention to detail and follow through with commitments.

Ability to:

  • Communicate clearly to small and large groups internally and externally to lead complex projects to completion.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with leaders and colleagues’ enterprise wide to solution, implement, and drive results.
  • Plan and execute short- and long-term goals.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in analytics or data reporting role
  • Regular and reliable attendance during normal working hours, as established by the leader.
  • Any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.
  • Travel- Ability, and willingness, to travel regularly, 10% of time, based on needs of the business.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience working in analytics – driving high impact analysis with a track record of delivering insights and business results
  • 3+ years’ experience in developing data visualization dashboards and reports
  • 2+ years with A/B Testing and results analysis
  • 2+ years of hands-on data analysis experience using any of the standard quantitative analytics tools (SQL, Python, Snowflake etc.)

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
