Job Description

Are you passionate about data analysis and reporting? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the Analyst – Development role at ALSAC-St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct data-driven analysis on fundraising campaigns and programs.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve campaign and program performance and inform future strategies.

  • Collaborate with strategy stakeholders and campaign architects to translate business questions into reporting and segmentation.

  • Establish and maintain analytic standards, metrics, and testing strategies to effectively manage campaign performance.

  • Design and develop new and existing reports to track and measure the performance and growth of campaigns.

  • Attend project and strategy meetings and communicate strategic shifts through reporting.

  • Share analytical insights across business partners to inform functional area strategy.

  • Represent ALSAC-St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in a positive and professional manner.

Additional Responsibilities:

Interpret data using analytics, research methodologies, and statistics to create reports and visualizations.

Collaborate with/support senior analysts and business partners to translate business questions into insights.

Manage existing reporting/documentation.

Perform some SQL coding with a desire to grow this skillset.

Utilize data visualization tools (preferably Tableau).

Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft tools: Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with SQL programming language and augmented analytic tools such as business objects, data cubes, etc.

  • Basic proficiency with data prep tools like Tableau Prep, Alteryx, etc.

  • Basic experience creating visualizations through Excel or developed resource tools like Tableau, SQL, Power BI, Looker, SAP, etc.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for internal and external relations.

  • Ability to understand complex verbal or written instructions.

  • Knowledge ordinarily acquired through a Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience; or a High School Diploma and 3 years of experience.
